Brook

Sex is everywhere: perfect and polished in porn, choreographed and cinematic in TV and film. And then, in sex ed, it’s often sterile, awkward, and completely unrelatable. No wonder so many people end up feeling like they’re getting it “wrong.” That was the catalyst for a proactive animated content series delivered for sexual health charity, Brook.

Perfect sex doesn’t exist.

Up to a third of Brits have experienced sexual performance anxiety, but most haven’t talked about it. That silence can be really damaging, and it’s exactly what inspired us to approach Brook with a proactive idea to form part of their Perfect is Personal campaign in 2024.

We wanted to tell real stories that showed just how personal, messy, and totally normal sex can be. Nothing preachy or polished — just honest moments brought to life with warmth and humour. We teamed up with the brilliant folks at Rave Growl to bring three real stories to life via eyeball-grabbing animation

Creature Comforts, but for bad sex.

‘Duncan’s Story’ tells of a ménage à trois that skips the acrobatic logistics and ends in an entirely different eye-watering climax than planned. ‘Vicky’s Story’ captures how bad sex flashbacks can strike at the most inconvenient moments, but still leave you with a wry smile. And the trilogy wraps with ‘Freddie’s Story’, a festival fiasco so full of cringe it delivers two ground-swallow-me-now moments.

The response was fantastic, with views and shares through the roof. The films are now being used in sex ed, helping make those important conversations more real, more human, and way less intimidating.

A thrilling romp of a ride at TBWA, featuring Ben Brazier & Johnny Ruthven (Creatives), Flick Bingham (Producer) and Alice Trotter (Account Manager).
